Chesterfield Farm is open 7 days a week for all group bookings. Whether it’s a school excursion, a child’s birthday or an end-of-year Xmas Party, we can provide your group with a great fun day out.

Did you know that Chesterfield Farm is open every day and is available for School Excursion Program bookings? Chesterfield Farm is an historical farm, now operating as a children’s farm, open to the public 7 days a week. Our activities and animals always provide much enjoyment, and a real “hands-on” experience of farm life. Your students’ day at Chesterfield Farm will include ~ • Animal feeding (emus, goats, deer, etc.) • Baby animal nursery • A tractor ride • All-weather lunch/picnic areas • And of course our fun farm activities, which are always a huge hit & may include sheepdog work, shearing demonstration, cow milking, and bottle feeding some of our lambs! Chesterfield Farm is an historical farm, now operating as a children’s farm, open to the public 7 days a week. Our Kinder/Preschool excursion programs always provide much enjoyment, and a real “hands-on” experience of farm life. Your students’ day at Chesterfield Farm will include ~ • Animal feeding (emus, goats, deer, and much more) • Visiting and handling many of the farm’s newest additions in our large animal nursery. • A ride in our fun tractor-drawn wagon. • A visit to our pig stys. • And of course our fun farm activities, which are always a huge hit & may include sheepdog work, shearing demonstration, cow milking, and bottle feeding some of our lambs! Each group will be accompanied by one of our friendly farm staff for the duration of their visit, enabling the children to ask questions and receive guidance and assistance whenever necessary. Prices for Pre-School & Kinder Excursion bookings are as follows: Children ~ $14.00 each Teachers ~ free of charge Parents ~ $14.00 each (2 free parent helpers per farm group) (GST included) ** Visitors are required to provide their own morning tea and lunch. Chesterfield Farm makes a fantastic venue for your child’s next birthday party, with many under-cover party areas, plenty of open spaces for the kids to run, lots of “animal attractions” and friendly staff to make the day enjoyable. Farmer for a Day

FARMER FOR A DAY PROGRAM In this program, children can have the experience of seeing our farmers in action each day. They will go behind the scenes to help us feed the animals and make sure they’re all well looked after. A chance to get up close and personal with some of Chesterfield Farm’s animals. COST: $70 per child includes morning tea, lunch and all activities. TIME: 8.45AM arrival and a 1.00PM Finish ACTIVITIES: (may vary on the day) • Morning nursery clean – assist in cleaning the nursery pens • Camel encounter – help hand feed Archie, Alfie and Barney their lunch • Meet the Dogs – meet with one sheepdog and one guard dog and learn about what their job is on our farm. Includes grooming/brushing the dogs. • Reptile encounter – meet a blue tongue lizard and turtle. Learn about safety around snakes when on farms/in the bush. • Feed the rabbits/guinea pigs • Hand milk the dairy cows • Feed the chickens and/or ducks plus collect chicken eggs • Tractor ride – hop on the tractor for a tour of the farm. • Bottle feeding baby animals – help to bottle feed the lambs/kids/calves in the nursery for one of their feeds (seasonal) WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: • Sunhat and Sunscreen • Sturdy Shoes/Boots • Pants & Jumper or Shorts & Tshirts (check the weather for the day) WHAT WE PROVIDE: • Morning Tea • Lunch • Fun Farm Experience & Activities • Activity pack Bookings and Cancellations Please call Chesterfield Farm on 9763 1588 between 10am and 4pm weekdays to make your booking.
