School Excursions

Chesterfield Farm's school excursion programs always provide much enjoyment, and a real "hands-on" experience of farm life.

Your students' day at Chesterfield Farm will include ~

•  Animal feeding (emus, goats, deer, horses, kangaroos and much more)
•  Visiting and handling many of the farm's newest additions in our large animal nursery. 
•  A ride in our fun tractor-drawn wagon.
•  A visit to our pig stys.
•  A visit to our education centre where children will talk with one of our farmers about Australian farming and produce. ^{* suitable for primary aged children only}
•  And of course our fun farm show, which is always a huge hit, including sheepdog work, shearing demonstration, whip cracking, cow milking, cream
   separating and bottle feeding some of our lambs!

Each group will be accompanied by one of our friendly farm staff for the duration of their visit, enabling the children to ask questions and receive guidance and assistance whenever necessary.

Prices for School Excursion bookings are as follows:
Students ~ $10.50 each
Teachers & 2 parent helpers ~ free of charge
Extra parents ~ $10.50 each
(GST included)

** Visitors are required to provide their own morning tea and lunch.
